Nithya Krishnan, MD

Nithya Krishnan, MD, is a Florida native who has been living in Jacksonville for six years. She always felt a calling to medicine and has been known for her empathy and people skills. Her passion is patient advocacy and she had the opportunity to work with the underserved at the University of Florida Shands Hospital in downtown Jacksonville. In her free time, Dr. Krishnan enjoys reading and book clubs as well as spending time with her three children. Dr Krishnan is experienced in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and uses a holistic approach to evaluate each of her patients. Her areas of expertise include:

About Me

I have lived in Jacksonville for the past six years, but hail from Fort Myers, Florida. I have three kids under five years old, so I have a very hectic but fun home life.

My philosophy of care is to bring holistic care to my patients and to take into account the entire patient and not just a single condition. I place great emphasis on objective evidence-based medicine and also find importance in mindfulness and other complementary and alternative therapies.

I strive to give my patients a sense of safety, security and well-being while under my care.
