- Hospital-based Neurocritical Care
About Me
My wife is a physician as well and is employed as a hospitalist. I enjoy spending time with her and my two wonderful children at the beach on weekends and look forward to travelling during our holidays to exotic locations.
Since the focus of my practice is the management of patients with neurocritical illness, which encompasses a variety of life threatening conditions, I try to implement therapy with a goal of improving functional neurological outcomes, since the quality of life is just as important (if not more) than survival.
I would like to make healthcare accessible to remote locations where the necessary infrastructure, technology and subspecialized services may be lacking in comparison to urban centers. This can be accomplished by the use of telehealth, a concept that facilitates the care of patients requiring urgent medical attention and in dire need of critical medical services.
