About Me
My dad was a family doctor and I grew up working in his office and learning from him and his patients. One of his favorite things to say was, “You treat the patient, not the x-ray”. His point was that the patient is much more than just a presenting symptom; of utmost importance is the actual person in front of you whom you are caring for.
I believe in treating my patients with respect, courtesy and the highest level of professionalism possible. We try to explain the patient’s medical condition and results in terms that anyone can understand without a lot of medical “mumbo-jumbo”. We strive to have our clinics run on time and if there are delays, we express regret and apologize because your time is valuable.
I often ask my patients what they like to do for fun. If you were to ask me, I would have a long list. First would come family activities and spending time with my wife (whom I cherish and have been married to for more than 20 years) and our three children. I enjoy music and have played guitar since I was 15 years old. I enjoy running and snow skiing. We are active in our church and I have been a member of Promise Keepers for more than 15 years.
