About Me
I grew up in Jacksonville and it’s great to be home after nearly a 25-year hiatus. In my free time I like to play the guitar, golf, watch sports and spend quality time with my wife, Klee and our daughter, Joy.
As a surgeon, I have options to address any given pathology, including operative and non-operative solutions. It is important to understand a patient’s goals so that the best match between pathology and treatment can be made. The ultimate goal is to achieve the best outcome while minimizing risk.
I chair the Humanitarian Services Committee for the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and have worked to expand its global footprint, including humanitarian missions here in the U.S. As part of this committee, I had the opportunity to serve as a medical volunteer in Vietnam in 2013. I have also been on medical mission trips to Tanzania, Haiti, and India.
