You'll see these advanced practice providers caring for patients in a variety of medical specialties at doctor's offices, hospitals, outpatient centers and emergency rooms. About Me
I have called Jacksonville home since 2009, when I traveled here to pursue a bachelor's degree in nursing from a small island town in southern NJ. I have since worked as a registered nurse for 9 years, met and married my wonderful husband, pursued a master's degree in nursing, became a Family Nurse Practitioner, and welcomed an incredible little daughter into this world. She has given me my favorite role in the world, which is that of a mother. I enjoy spending quality time with my little family, being outdoors, and soaking in the precious moments that make up motherhood.
My philosophy of care is rooted in the patient-focused nursing model and encompasses the selflessness and compassion that nursing is founded on. I approach health and illness through the lens of the whole person, understanding that health is multifactorial. I believe establishing trust starts with the provider, through active listening and open communication. My goal is to assist those in achieving greater health and wellness, through advocacy, empowerment, and health promotion, while helping patients become strong advocates for their own health.
