About Me
As the youngest graduate from my class, I started medical school at the age of 16. After completing medical school I completed research in the area of congestive heart failure with multiple publications in renowned journals. After two years of research as a post-doctoral candidate, I completed my residency at the University of Iowa hospital and clinics. I went on to complete my fellowship and a fourth year of training in heart failure and cardiac transplantation at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic.
A native of Brazil, I am married and have two children. When not working, I spend all my time with my family. I enjoy the weather in Jacksonville and nearness to my other family members in Florida.
