About Me
Traveling across to this side of the world, and devoting 20 years to medical training (medical school, residency, chief residency, faculty practice, and fellowship) were steps in pursuit of something greater than just myself. It is an honor and it is humbling to make a positive difference in someone's life and be in a position of service to fellow human beings.
I have learned a tremendous amount of lessons from my patients. I believe in their struggle and their fight with a life-changing illness. It is a personal matter to me. Innovation comes from solving problems that are personal to us. My team and I are committed to providing the best, most up-to-date, evidence-based wholesome treatment I treat my patients just as I would treat my parent or my sibling.
Florida has become my home since I first came as a visiting medical student from Syria. I spent over a decade in South Florida where I did most of my medical training. I cherish its earth, air, blue skies, and waters. I cherish the genuine friendships I've made with many of its people. So I call it home. I have a small family of my wife Maryam, baby Maryam Bella, and two kittens Waffle and Pancake. We find solace in nature and in the Atlantic waters, on top and underneath.
